Mocmex Virus
Sunday, June 22nd, 2008A new computer virus has recently been detected. The Mocmex virus resides in digital frames and other external electronic devices. How the virus managed to get to these devices while on the shelves of a local store is still a mystery. According to Computer Associates, the virus was engineered by a well funded organization in China. The head of Computer Associate’s product development declined to give the name of the Chinese organization behind the virus. The Mocmex virus is almost similar to other new computer viruses in that it is capable of collecting personal information. For now, the information collected is limited to online gaming usernames and passwords.
