Starting a Beauty Salon
Sunday, March 22nd, 2009After being a hairdresser for ten years, I decided it was time that I opened my own beauty shop. I had so many ideas but I couldn’t do anything with them while working for someone else. I leased a small building in Chicago and started with the furniture that would be required to start. I had bought styling chairs and set up different stations. I had my salon shampoo station, hair cutting station, as well as a station for facials and for massages. I painted the salon a light blue color and within days after receving the equipment, my salon was open for business!
