An Easy Wireless Connection
Thursday, December 25th, 2008I am the first to admit that I resist change, especially when the old way works perfectly well. When my employer announced they were going wireless, I grumbled and complained. My faithful desktop had served me well and always would.
Then technicians swooped down, taking away our desktops and replacing them with gorgeous new laptops, complete with Broadcom Wireless Network Software. They encouraged me to use my wireless connection and hot spot locator as I traveled for work.
Within a week I became infatuated with my easy new mobile lifestyle and, when a coworker asked me if I missed my desktop, I replied, “What desktop?”.
