Along with this increase, will be increased needs for elderly home care aides. A job such as this not only requires on-the-job training which, but also a knowledge of general homemaking tasks from cooking to cleaning. Such an aide must also be able to work hard, with a committed attitude to helping those who are in substantial need. They must also be friendly, patient, and capable of handling difficult patients and situations. Although the job can be a demanding one, it can also be incredibly rewarding.
