Researching Circulated Junk Silver Coins

I want to add precious metals to my portfolio, and junk silver coins are one of the cheapest, easiest ways to do it.
I’ve found some good stuff online on silver Mercury dimes. The more I read, the more I think junk silver coins are exactly what I need.
Inflation is inevitable. The best anyone can do is prepare for it.
