In an effort to get organized we had everyone make up their own reports that they would use to run their desk in the event that they would be gone and someone else needed to step in for them. It was a great experiment and we actually were able to put together a great deal of work flow diagrams out of it. We then took that one step further and used the Crystal Reports Offline Viewer. This was able to look at our different diagrams and reports and help us weed out the ones that were duplicates or maybe an excess step.
