AlJazeeraEnglish asked:
The boss of the American Insurance Group (AIG) - a company that has paid millions in bonuses to staff despite taking a vast government bailouts - has told a US congressional hearing he asked some employees to give some of the money back. But Edward Liddy said the “cold realities of competition” compelled the company to make the payments. Rosiland Jordon has this report.

Man you’re talking to a guy who has no conscious, no heart. They stole the livelihood of millions and millions and millions of people, who have no job at all, let alone a 401K. During president’s campaign, said Bush was responsible, now he’s taking the blame to get people off their back. Why?

f Congressmen knew what they were doing, we would not be in the mess that we are in. All Congress is beholden to the Military, Industrial, Congressional, Complex. Susan Eisenhower stated that upon leaving office, her grandfather wanted to use the term Congressional as an adjective in his famous “Goodbye Speech” but he did not want to make enemies as he left. All of CONGRESS is bribed by lobbyists…. et al.

let all know that this financial crisis is a very serious menace for the further existance of the United States. The Soviet Union, Comunist China, Taliban and Al Caida couldn’t get near to the damage what has now been done by the enemy inside by persons as irresponsable CEO’s and acomplished politicians. It looks like the U.S. is on the break of a next civil war involving a lot of different parties. brother against brother, sister against sister, son against father, daughter agains mother.

Oh, I see pig, now I understand. I am the giddy, well-educated school girl while you are supposed to be the mentally handicapped kid that walked by. Fair enough, have fun!

Well, I think we can all see that you are clearly an illogical individual. Please continue to embarrass yourself while using youtube comments and responses in a desperate and frivolous attempt to feel better about your sad and menial life. I guess you will just have to try and accept that there are individuals who are simply more intelligent than you. Someday the economy will get better and people will continue to make money, but you will always be a moron. Have fun being yourself. Take care.

Why are people who FAILED at their jobs receiving bonus instead of being fired? That’s where the anger is coming from.

Saix…..ur being distracted. AIG execs shouldn’t get these bonuses. But as I stated it comes out to less the 1 half of 1 percent of the total money they recieved. Congress (Sen. Dodd) put this provision in the bailout bill. Congress wastes far more money then these execs bonuses. They are the ones your anger should be directed towards. They are USING AIG as a distraction to get your eyes of them!! Question, if all this execs just got 1 dollar would it effect the economy at all?….NOPE!!
September 17th, 2010 at 12:25 pm
Corporate thiefs don’t even deserve their annual salaries much less a bonus.I hope AIG crashes,HARD!
September 19th, 2010 at 7:01 pm
Point 5: AIG execs are typical money-grubbing whoring skunks shamelessly bowing to & worshiping the almighty dollar. They are idolaters robed in $2,000 suits, a cancer deliberately eating away at the heart of our nation.
Point 6: Who cares? Use their devil contracts as a snot rag.
Point 7: IT’S $165 MILLION not “$65 million. Could care less if it was $6.50! Its still weak, cowardly, self-serving shitters grinning & slobbering like dogs while greedily scrambling for their whore-bonuses.
September 21st, 2010 at 6:14 am
Point 1: Yeah? So what!
Point 2: Who gives a shit.
Point 3: Whatever.
Point 4: Could care less.
September 22nd, 2010 at 10:57 pm
Point 5: AIG is a pawn in the political storm so democrats can get their tax and spend agenda moved forward.
Ponit 6: If the government let AIG go into bankruptcy restructuring, the courts could have stopped any legal contracts that pay out such bonuses. Instead, the government thought it best to nationalize the banks. A move that they have no experience in enacting.
Point 7: Why do you care about $65 million when the government spends billions in Iraq.
