How many Tea Party Haters have ever gone to a rally to see what it is all about?

America 101 asked:

It appears as if so many on here loathe, despise, and abhor the Tea Party movement.

Question: Have you ever been to a rally before?

I’ve been to several, each numbering thousands in attendance, and like the company.

Where do you draw your qualms from if you’ve never been to a rally?

Cheryl

      I support Tea Party….

I don’t support the liberal media’s report on them

    2. Dr_knowital Says:

Its easier to listen to the hate on MSNBC and regurgitate it

How do you know you wouldn’t like the KKK if you’ve never been to a cross burning?

Because they’re a bunch of ultra religious gun nuts is why. They think the US should be based on a book about a jewish zombie that lived 2000 years ago and will return one day to take us to another dimension.

    4. Liberals R Idiots Says:

I enjoy going to Tea Parties and being around intelligent people. Try it some time, you may learn something.

    5. Froid Says:

Sorry, I don’t have to go to one of your Klan Rallies to know what you’re about any more than I have to pick up a dog turd and smell it to know that it stinks.

They get it from they’re alphabet media ! … ABC , NBC , CNN , PBS , BBC etc. They watch , and then , like clones , repeat what they have been programmed .. They are mostly uptight and frightened because this administration is going to be badly damaged in Nov , and ousted in 2012 …. I say let em have their fun while it lasts … God bless em ……..

    7. GOZ2FAST Says:

I can bet very few of them, unless they are bused in by the left and paid for the day to protest have ever been to a tea party rally…

I went to the Glenn Beck American Revival in Phoenix today…there were 10,000 people there of every walk of life…and two protestors outside…one with a sign “Glenn Beck is an Idiot” and one with a sign “I am a progressive, ask me why”…nobody talked to either of them, so they eventually just went home.

They get their information from the likes of Kieth Olberman and Micheal Moore. It is easeir than thinking for themselves.

I have no reason to considering I don’t agree with a lot of their ideas

and before you jump down my throat, no I do not think that all tea partiers are racist, that is a stupid notion from the left that just as bad as any scare tactic used by the right.

    10. Cinner Says:

I am not a hater, I am a “member”. I have been to a couple and will be going to another one on April 15th. The people at the rallies are really middle America. A wide variety of colors, wealth and personalities. The common thread was the patriotism, the MANNERS and the shared goal of taking our country back.

Teabaggers aren’t shy about tellin us what they are about.

    12. Smart Kat Says:

They get it from the media’s distortion of the rallies.

You can’t go to every rally before you form opinions. You have to rely on honest reporting of the events. Sadly, we haven’t had much honest reporting. Out of thousands of people at several rallies, the media finds a few racist or otherwise extremist signs and the broadcasts those images over and over again until people beleive those nuts represent the whole movement.

I used to call the media “biased” Now they are becoming corrupt!

I have and was thouroughly amazed at the rancor, the hatred and the ignorance that most of these people displayed. It’s really not hard to draw your “qualms” about people who are on government programs such as Social Security and Medicare and want to eliminate all government programs. It is not at all hard to draw your “qualms” about a group that let’s people walk around with signs comparing their elected president to one of the worst mass murderers is history. It is not at all hard to draw your “qualms” to a group who holds tax reduction as one of it’s main tenets and does not realize that Obama has lowered taxes for the vast majority of them. It is not hard to draw your “qualms” about a group that include many who are so removed from reality that they will not admit Obama is a citizen of the United States. It is not hard to draw your “qualms” about a group that treat murders like Scott Roeders and people who threaten the lives of elected representatives as heroes. I have been to several and apparently you have not if you missed these abundantly evident facts.
